Spaceguy222's Contest Entry

This is my contest entry for Spaceguy222. He said he wanted a pic about his series: "Star Squirrel" and to create a pic about the series, either fan art or recreating a scene.

"LET'S GET EM!! >:I" Cameron said, gripping the control stick for the maneuvering thrusters.  

"Stand down ensign! That's an order! >:I" Speedy said firmly. 

"But Captain! They're right there! We can make them pay for hurting our friends!!"

"Cameron! Are shields up? How about weapons? Do we have scanners right now!?"

"No...."

"I understand your zeal, but we are in NO condition to fight right now. If we tried, we'd all be killed!" 

"...I'm sorry captain..." he said, dropping his head. 

Speedy put a hand on his shoulder. "It's fine. I appreciate your valor. Now is not the time though. We need to lay low until Explorer gets her teeth..." he said, while smiling. Cameron smiled back. 

"Thanks..."

"Of course....now..." Speedy said, facing everyone, "We need to work around the clock to get Explorer running. Jessica, you stay on the bridge, and see if you can decipher that language. Allen, you stay here, and keep an eye on those ships. If they even twitch, I want to know about it. Sparkle, Cameron, Ice, you are with me. We are going to get this ship running in less then two hours..."
