This was a journal entry I have attempted to make last week, but of course the idea of listing 10 facts of my best Thomas OC: Ian the Big Blue Engine came first. So, I decided that just for the fun of it, I should make another list of interesting facts about my other Thomas OC and my enginesona: Cameron the Friendly Tank Engine. For those who have read the saga about him from "Sudrian Stories" then most of you will probably know about half of his bio, by now.

If not, here's a new and improved list with half the info old and other parts of it new. This may also apply to my other series: "Thomas & Friends - North Western Railway Adventures Reboot" too, depending on whether or not my mind is made up on that decision. Anyway, let's get started on this list.

FACTS

1: Cameron's original basis was a LB&SCR E2 tank engine, but his appearance had changed to a Furness Railway G5 tank engine due to backlash of many people making their OCs out of E2 tank engines. Due to this, his backstory was overhauled. It is also worth to mention that he would be based out of the tank engines seen in backgrounds of the illustrations of the early RWS books.

2: He was built on the Furness Railway and had worked there for a good number of years alongside Edward until both engines arrived on Sodor around the same time as Thomas and Eagle. While Thomas was the station pilot, Cameron became a yard shunter and would shunt trucks into their proper places and keeping the yards tidy.

3: A short while after Cameron arrived, he was often annoyed by another tank engine named Charlie who discovered that Cameron didn't find his jokes amusing. Because of that, Charlie would not let up and tried every trick in the book to make Cameron laugh at his jokes. because of this, it made Charlie lose focus of his work and after he became a runaway with a goods train without the aid of a brakevan, Charlie met a sticky end. Cameron felt that he was responsible, but the Fat Director told him that Charlie's demise wasn't his fault, but Charlie's.

4: During WW2, Cameron also served the Sudrian Platoon on Sodor and was tasked with helping the soldiers load and unload important cargo from ships until suddenly, the harbour was attacked by air raid bombers similar to the Attack of Pearl Harbour. Fortunately, Cameron was able to prevent this disaster from growing worse when a train of gunpowder caught fire. Quickly, Cameron dumped the entire train into the sea, saving the lives of everyone at the harbour, that night.

5: He even received a special visit from the Thin Clergyman himself and offered Cameron a book of his own, but Cameron respectfully declined. But of course, the Thin Clergyman would have him painted in the backgrounds of the illustrations for the Railway Series.

6: Before Cameron left the Furness Railway for Sodor, he once had a rival named Jasmine, a Class A5 who would often bully and torment the poor engine. She was also the engine who hoped she would go to Sodor with Edward, but after Edward told the manager of her mistreatment towards Cameron, he was given the honour, instead which made Jasmine dismayed until she was severely punished for her rotten behaviour. Cameron never saw her again after he left.

7: Before Cameron would work at Brendam Docks on Edward's Branch Line, he once shunted at Vicarstown and then Tidmouth. Back then, he was teased by the bigger engines Gordon, Henry and James until the blue tank engine finally had enough. He got his own back at the three engines by playing multiple tricks on them all in one day. They soon stopped their teasing now realizing that they have underestimated him.

8: When Cameron was chosen to work on the Great Waterton Branch Line that had been restored, Cameron travelled to the Other Railway beyond Barrow to find another steam engine to take his place. he soon rescued a little tank engine named Ashleigh (based on Rainbow Dash from MLP - FIM) and brought her back to Sodor to have her restored. Because of this, the two of them have developed a loving relationship with each other.

9: He even once encountered a magical spirit named Panloco, an engine who was part of an old engine's tale. One night, after he attempted to search for her again, he almost fell off into the sea, but was rescued by Panloco. She then told him not to go chasing after ghosts and said that she will always be watching him as her guide and would often watch over him from afar.

10: In the "T&F - NWRA reboot" he would encounter Guardian Soul from MLP - FIM and Cameron the Dragon from Sonic after realising that they have quite a bit in common in terms of personality.

TRIVIA

  • Despite being a shunter, he would pull small trains and perform smaller duties along the mainline

  • He was originally going to have two coaches of his own, but the idea was scrapped

  • Like Guardian Soul and Rainbow Dash, Cameron and Ashleigh would be boyfriend and girlfriend

  • People often mistook Cameron for Thomas due to them being small blue engines

  • He does not get along with with Fergus due to him being annoyed by his "do it right!" nonsense.

And that's pretty much about it for this journal entry. I have put quite a lot of thought into this journal and I hope that you have learned quite a lot about this friendly tank engine. if you have any other questions about him, leave them in the comments below.

Thanks for reading, everyone!

I wasn't sure what kind of journal entry I should make before this week is over until I remembered that I one made separate journal about 10 interesting facts about my OCs: Cameron the Dragon from Sonic and Guardian Soul from MLP - FIM. So I decided that just for the fun of it, I would make some interesting facts of one of my best Thomas OCs: Ian the Big Blue Engine. After all, I have wrote a lot of stories about him and thought I'd share more information about him to you, guys.

The information regarding Ian is canon to both of my series; "Sudrian Stories" and "Thomas & Friends - North Western Railway Adventures Reboot." So, let's get into this list, shall we?

FACTS

1: Ian the Big Blue Engine was created way back before I joined DA which was meant to be a part of my attempted YouTube video: "Thomas & Friends New Engine Slideshow" but never got uploaded. But after digging up the archives of the old video, I decided o make him as one of my best OCs that I have created.

2: Ian is built as a LSWR N15 King Arthur class and the last one to be built, but never obtained the name based from the Knights of the Round Table. Because of this, he was often teased by most of his brothers, but Ian paid no attention and would continue his working days as an express passenger engine.

3: After WW2 had ended, Ian eventually met and befriended a little girl named Abigail. He first met her when she and her mother were travelling to the seaside station. After he gave them a smooth run towards the seaside station, Abigail now considers Ian her favourite engine and the two of them had developed a good friendship. When Ian was withdrawn and about to be scrapped, Abigail saved him by sending letters to the Fat Controller's Railway to have him saved.

4: After Ian was taken to Sodor and repainted blue, he was immediately ordered to help rescue Gordon and his express after he stalled on Gordon's Hill. And after he successfully pulled Gordon and his express towards Crovan's gate on time, Ian was praised for his fine performance and the Fat Controller had awarded Ian to help Gordon pull the express. At first, Gordon was jealous, but he soon apologised to Ian for his behaviour and the two became good friends.

5: Despite having to pull the express at times, Ian doesn't mind pulling goods trains. he even once volunteered to help share the Flying Kipper with Henry. he even shares the Boat Train with bear given how his class were experts at it back in the old days of the Southern Railway. In fact, Ian considers pulling the Boat Train as his favourite job.

6: Ian was happily reunited with Abigail who is now a fully grown woman. She came to live on Sodor after she got engaged to Ian's driver, which meant she is now able to spend more time seeing Ian like she did back in her childhood years. In fact, she became the first firewoman to help out with Ian which is the start of recruiting woman as engine drivers or firewomen.

7: Ian is the type of engine that stands no nonsense from anyone. While he is still friendly and loyal to any engine he considers as his friends, he shares no reservations for putting engines who are getting too big for their buffers in their places. He would even give Gordon, henry and James a scolding whenever they step out of line.

8: Ian and Sam the Green V2 Tender Engine share a relationship with each other. This relationship is also canon in "Thomas & Friends - North Western Railway Adventures Reboot."

9: While Ian has lots of friends, even he has his own enemies that he has made back on the Southern Railway. The two engines who are his enemies are Sandra and Charleston who are also Thomas' enemies.

10: Ian was created years before Merlin a canon character who was introduced in "Journey Beyond Sodor" and before the creation of another OC: Richard the Southern Engine.

TRIVIA

  • He has his own named express train "The Spirit of Norramby."

  • He was once visited by the Thin Clergyman who offered Ian a book about himself, but he respectfully declined.

  • He also takes maintenance trains along the mainline.

  • Out of all the big engines he is friends with, he often looks out for Henry the most.

And that's pretty much all that I have for this list. I apologise for this journal entry being late, but as the old saying goes: Better late than never. What are your thoughts about Ian the Big Blue Engine? Let me know in the comments, below.

Thanks for reading, everyone!

Happy Easter, everyone! I know this isn't much of a good journal entry, but I do have plans for today. I'll be having an Easter lunch with my family and I will be making an Easter themed pic to celebrate such an occasion.

This year it will be a Thomas themed pic since it had reached the highest votes. I would do another Sonic one, but ah well, Thomas themed it is, this year, so keep an eye out for it, later today!

Happy Easter to all my friends and watchers! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

It's no secret to most people that the Thomas movie "Thomas & The Magic railroad" became a box office failure because of criticism of the acting, plot, special effects, and lack of fidelity to its source material. While I understand the film had grossed out poorly because of it, it still gave me a lot of find memories as a child. But thanks to a friend of mine for discovering this a while ago, I was surprised to see that the reverend Wilbert Awdry himself had said he gave this movie a blessing as long as it still stays true to the Original Series and Railway Series in genera. But sadly after he passed away in 1997, Britt still manages to turn it around and still made it a failure of a movie.

Just a few days ago while I was working on my shift, I thought long and hard about what it would be like if the movie did stay true to the original and Railway Series and that if the movie only focused on the Thomas cast rather than the Shining Time Station cast. So, I decided that just for the fun of it, this is how I would rewrite "Thomas and the Magic Railroad," but instead renaming it "Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends The Movie: The Lost Engine."

Now, just before we get started, I want to remind everyone that this was simply made just for the fun of it and not something to be taken seriously. If you are against that idea, I can respect that, but just as long as you choose to respect my opinions in return.

Now with all that said a done, here's how I would rewrite the Thomas movie. as I like to call it: "Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends The Movie: The Lost Engine."

The movie would start with the narrator explaining that if there was anywhere you would like to travel in the whole world, then you would likely come to visit the Island of Sodor where it has green fields, sandy beaches, cosy villages and of course... talking trains. It would then first show Thomas the Tank Engine rolling along his branch line until it showcases his friends who all work and live on the island. It's also worth to mention that some more important characters like Edward, Duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver, BoCo, Mavis, Bill, Ben and the Skarloey Railway engines would appear in the movie and for good reason, too.

Anyway, the story begins where the Fat Controller and his family were about to go away on holiday via Edward's holiday train to the mainland. While he was away, he had assigned a diesel engine to help with the workload while he and Edward were away. The diesel in question is Diesel 10 himself to which the engines immediately find him scary.

Even after Edward and the Fat Controller had gone, Diesel 10 had made himself known to the engines for all the wrong reasons claiming that he is on Sodor looking for "the lost engine." At first, the engines just brushed it off, but Thomas was most curious and asked Toby what he meant. Without Edward around to give him answers, they both paid the little engines of the Skarloey Railway a visit which consists of Skarloey, Rheneas, Sir Handel, Peter Sam, Rusty, Duncan and Duke. Skarloey began telling Thomas that there was once an engine who had worked on Sodor after being built by a family of engineers from long ago but went missing after she was being hunted down by a rival family.

It was revealed that the lost engine named Lady was indeed on Sodor and had remained hidden in an old shed thanks to a man named Brunett Stone who was the next descendant of the family who once built her, years ago. While he cleaned an maintained her with the help from a boy named Patch and his dog Mutt, he became depressed ever since his wife and childhood friend Tasha had sadly passed away and never got to see her rolling on the rails, again.

To cheer him up, his granddaughter Lily who lived with her mother and father in the big city on the mainland travelled to Sodor via Gordon's express to visit and keep him company. During that time, Diesel 10 called his hench-diesels Splatter ad Dodge to keep an eye on the other engines as the story of the lost engine had begun to spread. Thomas of course became to determined to solve the mystery of the lost engine, but was teased by the bigger engines while a few of his friends supported him.

The movie would still have scenes such as Diesel 10 attacking the sheds and the engines all having a meeting about Diesel 10 and the lost engine.

In the scene where Toby would follow the diesels to the scrapyards, he would overhear Diesel 10 talking to Splatter, Dodge and his boss a man named P.T Boomer. It turns out that he shares the same goal of finding the lost engine and destroy it. The reason being was that he comes from the Boomer Family who are revealed to be the rival family against the Stone Family. They became jealous of the Stone Family for creating the perfect engine to run many years ago and were determined to destroy it, but after a horrific accident, she vanished. for years P.T Boomer had been bent on searching for the lost engine and finally fulfilling his family's goals of destroying her.

Toby of course rang his bell to force Diesel 10 to use his claw and made the shed collapse on the three diesels trapping them. The next scene would still have the montage of the engines working hard on Sodor (Really Useful Engine). The next scene would also have Thomas collect some coal trucks until he lost one coal truck which ran down an old overgrown line.

It wasn't until much later that Thomas would eventually meet Lily after she heard that the engines were all talking about the lost engine. There would also be a new scene where Diesel 10 and P.T Boomer would capture a few engines demanding them to tell them what they know about the lost engine, to which they refuse to answer. Enraged, they threatened to scrap them all, but not until they gathered some more information.

When the news of the engines' ransom had spread to Thomas, he now knew that his friends are in danger and that the only way to save his friends was to find the lost engine himself. With Lily riding in his cab, they eventually found the old line where they passed the coal truck that Thomas had lost. After much travelling, they found the old shed where Lady and Brunett Stone were. After revealing the whole story from lady and Brunett Stone, Thomas and Lily encouraged them to come and save the railway after suggesting they could use the coal from the lost coal truck they passed to build her more steam.

At last, after shovelling coal into her firebox, Lady and Thomas would travel down the old line to go and rescue their friends. This scene would also include the moment where Brunett would tearfully wish that Tasha would be there with them riding with Lady, but Lily would comfort her grandfather.

After finally arriving at Knapford Station, some of the other engines who were still free from Diesel 10 were most surprised to see that Thomas had truly solved the mystery of the lost engine. It was then that Thomas told them that Diesel 10 was holding his friends hostage. before they could go and rescue them, Diesel 10 and P.T Boomer would appear and started to give chase after Thomas and Lady.

The chase scene would still play out the same but with the engines Percy, James, Gordon, Henry and Toby rescuing their friends from the scrapyards from Splatter ad Dodge who were guarding them. During the chase sequence, there will be dialogue where Boomer would angry yell: "Hear me Brunett Stone, my lineage surpasses yours in every way!!" To which Brunett would reply: "It's not about the family name, Boomer, it's what you do with it!"

After crossing a viaduct that was collapsing, Diesel 10 and P.t Boomer would both fall off into the ravine and crash onto a coal barge pulling by a passing tugboat. Later, Diesel 10 was craned out of the barge and Boomer was arrested and taken away by the police. It was at that time Edward would return to Sodor with the Fat Controller and his family. After hearing all the things that Diesel 10 had done, he sent him away in disgrace, but not before having his claw removed. he would then praise Thomas for his heroism and would welcome Lady as part of the railway fleet with Brunett being her new driver.

It is also worth to mention that after Splatter and Dodge were given a sever scolding, BoCo and Mavis would vouch for the diesel shunters begging them for a second chance to which the Fat Controller agrees. P.t Boomer would be sent to prison somewhere on the mainland and life would return to normal on Sodor with the story of Thomas' bravery spreading all over the island. Everyone was very proud of him, but Lady was the most proud of him as she tanked Thomas for rescuing her and making her part of the railway family at last.

The movie will then end with one last montage of the engines working hard and happily and would end with one final scene of Lily and Patch waving goodbye to Thomas and Lady as they steamed off into the sunset and with Lily kissing Patch on the cheek. ;)

But ah well, we could only dream.
